Essex County Accessibility Advisory Committee

Background information

In September 2002, the Essex County Accessibility Advisory Committee (ECAAC) was established. The 7 members on the Committee provide advice to County Council on accessibility matters. They assist in preparing, and implementing the accessibility plan. They also make sure that the plan is effective.

The Committee is made up as follows:

  • 1 member of County Council
  • 2 from the stakeholder community
  • 4 people with disabilities.

County Council appointed Councillor Gord Queen to the Committee for the term of Council - December 2014 to November 2018.
