Wednesday, February 13th @ 6:30pm WHERE: Arts Council Windsor & Region, ArtSpeak Gallery COST: $10 for ACWR members, $15 for non-members, $20 for membership + workshop FACILITATOR: Nadja Pelkey Digital Archiving Pt. 1 All things Documentation Learn to properly document your work with consumer grade equipment. This workshop will include tips and tricks for lighting, hanging, and how to use in camera settings to minimize your post production time. This workshop will also cover how to document events and performances to effectively communicate your practice to a digital or print audience. Documentation is often the only way to introduce people to your work, using it effectively will: -Increase your chances of securing grant funds -Increase opportunities to exhibit/perform -Raise your online profile -Sell your work online -Help you to present yourself as a professional Workshop Suitable for: Visual Arts, Musicians, Theatre, Dancers, Authors Attendees Should bring: An object to document (works no larger than 2’x3’ if wall work, 2’x2’ for sculptural work).
