Physician Recruitment

Recognizing the need to attract more physicians to this region in 2003, the Councils of the County of Essex and the City of Windsor endorsed the establishment of the Physician Recruitment Steering Committee and the Regional Physician Recruitment Office for Windsor/Essex County. 

The mandate of the Steering Committee is to direct physician human resources, planning and needs analysis, and to establish priorities for and provide direction to the Physician Recruitment/Retention Officer. The Physician Recruitment Office is jointly funded by the County of Essex and the City of Windsor.
