Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP)

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing introduced the MPMP program in 2000. The County of Essex compiles statistics according to these provincially mandated measures. The objectives of the program are:

• To provide a tool to assess how well municipal services are delivered 
• To improve performance 
• To strengthen accountability to taxpayers 
• To provide an information resource that allows municipalities to share strategies and learn new and or better practices from one another.

The County of Essex is pleased to publish its report under the provincial Municipal Performance Measurement Program (MPMP).
