Want to volunteer - here's how to get involved.
The WEVolunteer.ca website matches volunteers who can use their skills, energy and experience to assist a non-profit organization. Create a profile to be matched with meaningful volunteer opportunities across Essex County and throughout the entire region. Organizations can also create a profile to post volunteer opportunities and be matched the skilled volunteers. Visit www.wevolunteer.ca today to create your free profile and help us build a healthier, stronger and caring community.
We also have some opportunities for volunteers in some of the departments at the County of Essex. Currently, over 100 volunteers help support the residents at the Sun Parlor Home through our volunteer program.
Volunteers changing lives awards
During National Volunteer Week, the Volunteer Centre promotes volunteering through the Volunteers Changing Lives Awards, which celebrates local volunteers in the Windsor-Essex County community.
