Vacancy Tax rebateThe County of Essex and the municipalities of Kingsville, Leamington, Essex, Tecumseh, LaSalle, Lakeshore and Amherstburg are considering a change to the existing vacancy tax rebate program for commercial and industrial properties. Under the proposal, these changes would go into effect for 2018.
The intent of this change is to encourage the use of vacant properties to help support vibrant and sustainable communities.

CR 2219 Construction - Stage 4On Monday, August 14, 2017, the #CR2219 construction project will be moving into Stage 4. 
In order to do so, at approximately 7:30 pm, with the assistance of local O.P.P., traffic will be shifted from the North side of CR 22 to the South side of CR 22. (Please see the attached image).
